About me
I’m Mike Hamson, a business development professional, writer, and real estate professional based in the Charlotte area. My work is centered around people, trust, and helping others make clear decisions during important seasons of life.
Professionally, I serve as a Business Development Manager with RPM Value, where I help homeowners, investors, and accidental landlords think through the process of renting and managing their properties. Whether someone is relocating, holding onto a home as an investment, or simply trying to understand their options, my goal is to bring clarity, honesty, and practical guidance to the conversation.
Before working in property management, I built my career in client relationships, sales, operations, and service-based leadership. Those experiences taught me that good business is never just about transactions. It is about communication, consistency, follow-through, and doing right by people.
Outside of real estate, I write about faith, leadership, family, personal growth, and the difficult but meaningful work of becoming whole. Writing has become one of the ways I process life, tell the truth, and look for grace in ordinary places.
This site is where those parts of my life come together: real estate insight, leadership lessons, personal essays, and reflections on faith and humanity. My hope is that whether you are here because you are considering renting out a property, looking for a thoughtful perspective, or simply reading along, you find something useful, honest, and encouraging.
